Management Team

Michael T. Trotter President	Mike has over 15 years experience in the roofing industry and holds a B.S. Degree in Business from the University of Northern Colorado. Mike is President of Front Range Roofing LLC and oversees day to day operations and estimates. Mike currently serves on the board of directors of the Colorado Roofing Association and Western States Roofing Contractors Association. Mike is 30 hour OSHA Trained and serves as our Safety Director for Front Range Roofing Systems. Mike is an avid hockey fan and participant, enjoys all sports and outdoor activities, and participates in youth sporting activities including coaching. He is an active alumni member of the University of Northern Colorado and Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
Kent Nelson Vice President	Kent has over 18 years of experience in the roofing industry and holds a B.S. Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Kent's background includes estimating, project management and design services for many new construction projects throughout Colorado. Kent specializes in commercial new construction projects including built up and single ply roofing systems. Kent is an avid supporter of Colorado State University Athletics. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his two young sons, golfing, hunting and skiing.
Craig T. Valenti Vice President	Craig has over 27 years of experience in the commercial and residential roofing industry and holds a B.S. Degree in Business from the University of Massachusetts. Craig's background in the roofing industry includes installation, estimating, management and ownership. Craig's hands-on experience proves valuable in diagnosing and solving his customers roofing needs. Craig specializes in all aspects of roofing including new construction, reroofing and roof maintenance. Previous to Craig's employment at Front Range Roofing, he held the position of Vice President of Pittsfield roofing in Pittsfield, MA. Craig is both 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA trained and is active in administering the company safety program. Being an avid outdoorsman, Craig enjoys motorcycling, hunting, golf, and spending time with his family.

Sales team

Zachary Stanevich Estimator	Zack joined Front Range Roofing as a full time estimator and project manager in January 2009. He started with us as an intern from Colorado State University in February 2008 and graduated in December 2008 with a bachelor degree in Construction Management and minored in Business and Economics. Zack has been living in Colorado since 2001 with his wife and son, born in 2008. Zack enjoys rock climbing, soccer, softball and spending time with his son playing together outside.
Nathan Lopez Field Operations Manager	Nathan has worked in the construction field for over 17 years. He has done just about everything in the construction field beginning as a laborer and progressing to Management. Nathan has been Project Manager for small projects to major building renovations and his most recent project was a multi-million dollar commercial development. Nathan holds certifications from the IBC as well as BURSI. His job duties include but are not limited to the management of new projects as well as the service department. Nathan is also responsible for maintaining a positive, safe and enjoyable working environment for our personnel. Nathan is a devoted father and husband. His daughter is an avid basketball player and he enjoys supporting her in her endeavors. When the family is not involved in basketball they love to spend time in the mountains off-roading. When Nathan is not watching basketball or off-roading, he is in his shop fixing the Jeep.
Chuck Swansfeger Service Manager	Chuck has over 24 years of experience in the management, design, servicing and maintenance of commercial and residential roofing. Chuck has been working in the construction field since 1980 directly with moisture management of the exterior of buildings. Chuck's additional hands on experience with roof top related insulation, lightweight concrete, decking, waterproofing, coating, HVAC, electrical and plumbing covers all aspects of your roof design, performance and service needs to maximize your investment potential. Chuck enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, softball, fishing and attending sporting events of all types as well as camping.

Office Staff

Monica Flot Office Manager

Monica is the Office Manager for Front Range Roofing Systems. She oversees the daily activities of the office, produces fundamental close-out documentation of all contracted projects. Monica takes part in the financial duties as related to financial statements, budgets, bank reconciliations etc. In addition, Monica maintains and produces daily and weekly job status reports, is responsible for the maintenance, updating and issuance of the Hazard Communication Program, Fall Protection Program, Job Hazard Analysis Program, and the Cost Containment Program. Monica maintains the company website, the employee handbook, and all included safety and management policies. Monica joined Front Range Roofing Systems in November 1997. She enjoys time with her family and traveling to see friends.

Kandra Villani Office Assistant

Kandra holds the title of Office Assistant and is responsible for our Company Wide In-House Payroll Department. Kandra also processes our Third Party Contract Billings, processes and manages our weekly and quarterly payroll taxes, municipality tax reporting, and wage garnishments. Kandra joined Front Range Roofing Systems in October 2002. Kandra enjoys racing her 1988 Oldsmobile in Super Stock Eliminator at various drag strips around the country. Kandra is especially dedicated to her husband and two children and their ongoing activities.
